Akasa Air has witnessed remarkable growth in India since its inaugural commercial flight in August 2022 and has amassed a significant following among travellers. Wego can report that the airline has officially announced that their new stop and 17th location will be in Port Blair, the capital city of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Currently, flights will operate from Bangalore and Chennai to Port Blair and back. The flights are scheduled to commence on 15 December. The flight duration from Chennai to Port Blair is 2 hours and 10 minutes, while from Bangalore, it’s 4 hours. Ticket fares from Chennai start at INR 9,040, and from Bangalore, they start at INR 11,097.
